Handmade Gold & Burgundy Chess Set

This handmade and hand-painted chess set is individually crafted in London using Jesmonite and water-based spray paints.

Each set is made from Jesmonite AC100, a water-based, solvent-free material, and finished using water-based spray paints and a vegan wax sealer. These carefully chosen materials allow me to create each piece with a more environmentally conscious approach.

The chess set can be used as both a functional play piece, and also as a beautiful table centrepiece.

Please note: Due to the nature of working with Jesmonite, small air bubbles or slight variations may occasionally appear. I take extensive care to minimise these by sieving the Jesmonite powder, applying an initial fine layer of material to the mould, and using a vibrating table to help release trapped air. However, some small imperfections may still occur and are part of the unique character of a handmade piece.

Made to order: As a small independent business, each chess set is individually handmade to order. This allows me to minimise material waste and carefully produce each piece rather than holding large quantities of stock. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your chess set to be made and prepared for dispatch.
